Duties & responsibilities:
The Oracle Infrastructure Architects will investigate and prototype new features and technologies for inclusion in BES ERPs and assist in the design of the technical system architecture, conceptual design documents, technical specifications and development of code according to delivered requirements. All design and construct of automated unit tests for public procedures, functions, document test results, and perform source of defect resolution identified during testing, as well as analyze and tune developed software for improved performance and efficiency. The Oracle Infrastructure Architects will also perform software configuration, customized new technologies to benefit BES ERPs, and provide technical expertise for a staff of Software Engineers. Big IP F5 support will include all activities necessary for the strategic planning for the F5 implementation and support, oversight of basic F5 operation (DISA managed), and implementation and configuration management of DEAMS-specific configurations (DEAMS PMO managed). Will provide assistance to all DEAMS development and production hosting locations, development and implementation of common use of the F5 for user authentication and load balancing, integration with the C3I&N Implementation Baseline (IB) and continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of F5 operation across all environments. The F5 Lead will also provide knowledge to support the analysis and implementation of unclassified fixes and architectural changes that address classified vulnerabilities recognized through Information Assurance testing. Support will be provided for future DEAMS upgrade paths and software design. All technical documentation detailing the project design parameters will be provided, as well as participation in meetings and reviews required by the Program Office’s Software Engineering Process. Provide technical feedback in MSR to project management regarding the impact of proposed changes. Additional duties include new modules evaluation to BES ERPs to include Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and its related components, assist in DEAMS installation documentation, maintenance, and support issues resolution of GRC, UPK, and UMX.
Candidate will have specific knowledge relevant to the DEAMS deployed and future infrastructure solutions. Should be familiar with DoD and AF guidance in regards to DISA mandated security controls and regulations, and DEAMS approved engineering requirements. This includes helping the DEAMS program as they plan and deploy to future hardware platforms and non-Solaris based prototypes. Good understanding of best practices, establishing test criteria, documenting network topologies, and identifying ports and protocols. Candidate will work with a team that will advise the government on recommendations and strategies that optimize and secure its deployment of technology solutions in to all of the JIE compliant approved hosting environments to include DISA Capacity Services, DISA MilCloud, GCSS, and FEDRAMP approved commercial hosting providers
Bachelor degree and two years’ experience. Risk Management Experience a plus.
Secret Security Clearance Required
