This position will provide non-personal Active Directory (AD) services This AD support shall consist of installing, operating, administering, and maintaining various AD systems and operating systems installed at the customer site or maintained by the customer at various sites. The environment support includes any hardware, software, application, tool, or system used by the customer, whether developed, leased or commercially purchased and including legacy, current, and new systems at various lifecycle stages, and any future applications/systems not currently identified. The Contractor shall administer, operate, manage and maintain the currency of information according to Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) pertinent to assigned telecommunications and information systems.


  • Knowledge and minimum 2 years of experience in the management of an Enterprise Level AD infrastructure, Microsoft Operating Systems, AD Organizational Unit administration, and AD principles and methods, site and domain relationship, data replication and organizational units to administer security policies, delegation of authority and management of operating system objects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation; understand the fundamentals of network protocols, architecture and management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the associated IA principles and framework applied to ensure information assurance and security of those services.
  • Enterprise System Administration experience on Microsoft Windows platform; an understanding of a wide array of server grade applications to include Lotus Notes, Windows DNS, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, SAN/NAS, SCCM/SCOM, VM, Patch Management, and LDAP.


Must possess one of the following certifications for IAT III compliance:

  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
