In your new role, you will be responsible for providing Architectural direction for the Acquisition App Store development team.
The Acquisition App Store (AAS) provides services and applications for acquisition-related capabilities to its customers. AAS represents the AF AcqDom Information Technology (IT) portfolio transformation to a ServicesOriented Architecture (SOA) environment as sponsored by SAF/AQXI, AQ’s Chief Information Officer (CIO).
AAS includes a collaborative web-based tool used to define, manage, and report health and status throughout the lifecycle of a program; a data repository to support Business Intelligence (BI) tools for analytics; an enterprise user interface; and an identity management service that allows systems to communicate with each other in a SOA-enabled environment.
The ultimate goal of AAS is to provide each Acquisition Professional with a consolidated environment to perform their work and to provide senior executives with near real-time visibility of authoritative program information.
