    Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is currently sourcing for a Human Resources Generalist:

    • Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Generalist originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
    • The Human Resources Generalist coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs to employee base.  Requires broad and deep knowledge of Human Resources discipline and practices.
    • Assists with the development and administration of programs, policies and procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
    • Assist with development of compensation plans.
    • Ensure proper on-boarding of new employees resulting in quick assimilation into the organization.
    • Maintains HRIS and employee records in compliance with all state and federal requirements.
    • Assist with administration, education and support of employee benefits plans.
    • Assists with the implementation of the performance management system.
    • Assists with new employee orientation or on-boarding and management development.
    • Assist with employee disciplinary process, employee complaints and associated investigations.
    • Assist with administration of 401(k) plan and completes yearly compliance reporting.
    • Supports employee base by answering questions and providing solutions in a timely fashion.
    • Administers disability and worker's compensation claims.
    • Ensures compliance with all federal and state labor laws and regulations.
    • Assist with development of employee safety, welfare, wellness plans.
    • Perform other special projects as assigned.


    The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas:

    • Performance management and improvement systems.
    • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting.
    • Employee orientation, development, and training.
    • Policy development and documentation.
    • Affirmative Action Programs.
    • Employee relations.
    • Company employee communication.
    • Compensation planning.
    • Benefits administration.
    • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
    • Employee services and counseling.
    • Experience with HRIS system.
    • Government contracting.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Must reside in the state of New Mexico!



    • Three to five plus years of progressive experience in hands-on Human Resources positions.
    • Prior experience in employment law, compensation, benefits, performance management, training, employee relations, safety, government contracting required.
    • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
