    We are seeking a SQL Server professional to support the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) Health Professions Loan

    Repayment Program by providing support for a transition to and subsequent maintenance of a database and web application.





    Civilian Institution (CI) adding the mandated work for the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) Health Professions Loan

    Repayment Program; provide support for a transition to and subsequent maintenance of a database and web application/reports tools. The system produced will not only track people, but the financial transactions performed on their behalf. Provide web programming, application development, and system administration support for AFIT public and private web content. Tasks associated are in support of AFIT’s mission in assisting with internal business practices, student management requirements, and integrating the student, civilian institution, and financial data associated with individual enrollment and degree procession, and communicating with present and past students.




    • Become knowledgeable of all CI Programs and Applications with particular focus on support of the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP), - Create database and all the entities associated (schemas, tables, views, synonyms, constraints, etc.),
    • Perform as content and template manager for AFIT public and private web pages.
    • Develop web applications that benefit AFIT missions.
    • Develop and maintain mobile applications and web content and maintain applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, and ColdFusion programming.
    • Provide documentation of applications developed and processes captured.
    • Provide support for applications weekdays during normal business hours.
    • Work with customers to understand their requirements and provide required support using graphics software, multimedia software and the applications administrative interfaces.
    • Train government programmers on performing support for applications developed.
    • Understand data analysis and data cleansing.
    • Business process modeling, Work with customers to develop content.
    • Be familiar with OnBase document management and other student information systems and commercial-off-the self-applications used by AFIT.
    • Apply and sustain Section 508 Compliance using Web 2.0 standards.
    • Develop and Support database and applications in support of CI by program milestones.
